Canadian Civic Essay Contest 2026

GLOCAL is pleased to launch the Canadian Civic Essay Contest 2026, a national initiative inviting youth across Canada to engage thoughtfully with the public issues shaping civic life today.

Open to youth aged 15–35, this contest encourages evidence-based, accessible, and non-partisan writing on a civic issue that matters in Canada. Participants may draw on research, lived experience, or comparative perspectives with a focus on clarity, responsibility, and civic insight rather than ideology.
